WHAT IS HEPATITIS-C

Hepatitis C is an infectious desease caused by the Hepatitis C virus HCV annd primarily affects the liver. Hepatitis C can be transferred by unprtected sex.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS  OF ACUTE INFECTION

Acute infection develop in about 20% of infected people and may show up in generally 4-12 weeks, bt may take from 2weeks to 6month.

Over 70% of those exposed to the virus develop chronic infections. Hepatitis C can be associated with fatigue and mild cognitive dysfunction. After several years it may develop into ciirrhosis, or liver cancer.
